The Epson AcuLaser C3800 color laser printer was introduced across Europe in November 2006, targeted at small to medium sized businesses and workgroups. It had an OEM-rated duty cycle of 6,000 and print speeds of 25 pages per minute (ppm) for black printing and 20 ppm for color (A4).
The supplies set is made up of a 100,000 page yield transfer belt unit and four toner cartridges. The printer ships with standard yield 5,000 page yield color and 9,500 page yield black cartridges. Replacement color cartridges are available in both the standard yield and 9,000 page high yield versions. Only one yield option is available for black (9,500 pages).
Toner cartridges are chipped, with the chip board attached to a housing with a wire coil antenna similar to the one found in Dell 3110.
